Guy Fawkes is a terrorist who pillaged through England around 1600. You have probably even seen this mask before. Was it on the day he got caught? What was happening in England that day, a child had made a doll of that terrorist and was dragging it around. And the child would apeal to the adults to donate some money for the terrorist. Lastly the child has thrown a worn out doll into the bonfire and celebrated by lighting up the fireworks previously bought with the donations. It was the worst kind of celebration. It a whole level of difference compared to Halloween’s trick or treating. So with that said, November 5th is a celebration, a festival at the Aldgate. With light meal on the house too.

GuyFawkesは１６００年ごろのイングランドにいたテロリストだ。このお面見たことあるだろ。そいつが捕まった日だったかな？イングランドでは何をするかというと、子供がそのテロリストの人形をつくり、ひきずりまわす。で、こいつのために金くれよと大人を恐喝して小遣いを稼ぐ。最後は散々ひきずりまわした人形を、キャンプファイヤーみたいな焚火に投げ入れる。でもってせしめた小遣いで買った花火を打ち上げてお祝いする。極悪なお祭り。ハロウィンの「いたずら」とはレベルが違う。11月5日はオールゲイトでお祭りだ！軽食もサービスしちゃう。
